First Post
Well I thought it time to start up a blogging about my bead work. I do a variety of bead work mainly using delica beads and tiny seed beads. They are my paint and the canvas that I create on. I call what I do "Artistic Beadwork" in that I enjoy producing pictorial pictures out of beads. I can take any picture and re create it into beads. How ever this is time consuming in making sure the bead colors match the colors of the work I am creating and the time it takes to attach each bead like little points of color much like a TV produces pictures with dots of color.
Yes I can call it like the Improssionists use to create pictures with dots of color, but I enjoy the more realistic look of how things turn out than the suto look of some work sof art from the impressionist period.
Any way this is what I do and during the down times inbetween the large pieces that I work on I do bracelets and necklaces that I call beaded lace. Quite beautiful and lovely to look at. Not as elaborate as some necklace master pieces from those like Virginia Blakelock and Margie Deeb, Suzanne Cooper and Sharmini Wirasekara. All of these are masters at what they do.
I hope to post some pictures of what I do and write about my trials and tribulations of beading. And the in mean time I am tryin gto write a book and hope to get it published on some bead work projects that I do that is not too eleborate but simple enough for an average or beginner beader ( not string beader).
Anyway, this is first post of hopefully many.
